Bonded warehousing offers you a dual advantage for the importer so it allows the deferral for the duty payment & at the same time, it allows cargo to be stored under the relatively cheaper option for the warehouse storage as opposed to holding ISO containers for lease accrue on the importer.

With the increase in demand for bonded warehousing in all parts of the country. We at Allways logistics have an advantage in offering services, these warehouses are closely located to the siding /ICDs where the import arrives in the 1st place. This makes cargo a very cost-effective option, so there is practically no transferring cost involved in the moment of cargo from the landing facility to a Bonded warehousing in India

What is LTL freight?

LTL cargo handling (Less Than Truckload) is transporting cargo that is less than a truckload & it does not require an entire truck space to be transported. The transporter can consolidate 2 or more cargos heading in the same direction. This is one of the cost efficient methods so the business owners need to pay off the portion of the truck & the entire truck. LTL freight is an ideal option for shipping cargo & not individual products.

Working of LTL Freight

LTL freight utilizer is the hub & spoke model where it does not travel directly from a freight pick location to the delivery destination, so the cargo is collected from small & local distribution centers. Then it is transported to larger hubs & sorted to continue its journey with other cargo that is shipped to the same destination.

The cargo is packed with an individual pallet & the seller is charged for the space the pallet will occupy. These pallets are transferred from one truck to another before they reach their final destination.

What is FTL (Full Truck Load)?

FTL cargo handling (Full Truckload) is a type of shipping mode where a truck carries one dedicated shipment. So the journey is reserved for one shipment. FTL trucking has many advantages over the LTL.

FTL Services

  • Shipments that are large to fill an entire shipping container, FTL work out cheaper.

  • FTL cargo are much less restricted by size and weight restrictions.

  • FTL shipments get to the destination sooner, as there are other pickups or drop-offs on the way.

  • FTL means less handling of the shipment is likely to get lost or damaged.
